From cocktails to cold beer to sports table service, Walkabout has your night out sorted

It all started in 1994 when two ambitious Aussie mates dreamed of bringing the best bits of down under to the UK. Now an established brand, Walkabout, previously known as Outback Bar, is the UK leader for the best offerings from Oz.

Boasting 60” TV screens dedicated to bringing you the latest in sports fixtures and events, Walkabout in The Printworks combines a cool, laid back atmosphere with comfy seating for you and your mates to enjoy – maybe with a bucket full of cold ones and some wings delivered straight to your table. What’s not to love?

The Aussie-inspired new menu at Walkabout offers a mouthwatering selection of dishes with an Aussie twist.

Our favourites include the ’straight from the barbie’ sharer, packed with burgers, steaks and skewers to give you that ultimate beach-dining experience.

But it’s not all kangaroo, chilli and chicken. There’s something for veggies too – the baked avocado with sautéed mushrooms and crumbled Stilton in particular is one not to be missed.

For the more adventurous among you there’s the Mega Wafflewich. It’s as good as it sounds – a beef burger that’s swapped the brioche bun for waffles. Who says you can’t  have your cake and eat it?

The venue itself is cool, quirky and newly refurbished boasting a 10-screen video wall adorned with Aussie images from beach scenes to underwater sea life and a tantalisingly tasty cocktail menu to suit.

You’ll find classics like pina colada, Aussie twists like the Sex on Bondi Beach, tinnies and bundies like the Jaffa Can and, of course, cocktails if you’re behaving.

They also have a fantastic range of offers throughout the week, including selected drinks for just £2 Monday – Friday until 7pm. So, if you fancy a taste of the Tasmanian Devil, Tropical Ting or Aussie Grog, this is the place for you.

It’s no secret that they know how to party down under, and Walkabout loves to show us how its done with featured events like Throwback Thursday and Saturday Vibes when you can party until the early hours.

If you’re afraid of the hangover don’t worry because Walkabout has your back with the Sunday Service food and drink offers available from 8:00am – 10:30pm every Sunday. If you’re lucky, there might even be a match on.
