Good news for gin-lovers. October 19 is International Gin & Tonic Day. And what better way to celebrate than with a G&T?

To mark the special day, Manchester’s very own super premium gin Three Rivers are teaming up with LEAF, the brand new tea house and events space on Portland Street, to celebrate the deliciously refreshing and forever classic gin and tonic.

LEAF will be serving Manchester Three Rivers’ brand new autumn/winter perfect serve gin and tonics all day for a special price of £4.50.

And from 5.30pm onwards, Three Rivers’ master distiller Dave Rigby will be giving free gin tastings and a master class on the history of the G&T.

Every single bottle of Manchester Three Rivers’ Super Premium Gin is hand made in small batches in Manchester city centre’s first ever modern-day gin distillery in the Green Quarter using a 450 litre, custom built, Arnold Holstein copper pot still.

It’s a well balanced super premium gin with a combination of 11 botanicals. Subtle perfume on the nose precedes a particularly smooth mouth-feel with mid palette sweetness derived from vanilla, cinnamon, almond and oats. Finally cardamom gives way to a satisfyingly long, spicy, black pepper finish.

LEAF has over 60 varieties of loose leaf tea and an award-winning all-day menu with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. The perfect location for a G & tea.
