Trafford Centre Alpine Village

A festive Alpine Village has returned to the intu Trafford Centre to spread some Christmassy cheer to shoppers.

A raft of fairylight-adorned wooden stalls have set up shop outside The Great Hall at the centre, offering a range of tasty, seasonal treats including Yorkshire pudding wraps, halloumi fries, bratwurst and mulled wine.

And there’s a handy teepee seating area where you can eat your tasty treats and snuggle up by a fire pit while relaxing and listening to regular live music and entertainment over the festive period.

Meanwhile there are ride attractions for all the family, with a stunning Victorian Carousel as well as a Big Wheel, which is more than 55m high, offering magnificent views of the local area and intu Trafford Centre’s spectacular Christmas lights.

There’s also a Christmas chocolate factory with lots of candy treats to choose from and Christmas wreath workshops with local florist Ixia Flowers – new for 2019.

You can prepare your own Christmas wreath using the highest quality materials, whilst listening to festive music and enjoying a mulled wine or glass of prosecco.

The sessions will take place on selected dates from 24th November – 15th December (Wednesdays 6pm – 7pm and Sundays 10am – 11am).

Tickets are priced at £30, which includes all the materials to create a unique and hand-crafted wreath to take home, with guidance and advice from industry recognised local florists. Spaces are limited and can be booked online.

The Alpine Village is open until 5th January. Opening hours are 11am – 10pm Monday – Friday, 10am – 9pm Saturdays, and 12pm – 6pm Sundays (Christmas Eve 9am – 5pm, Boxing Day 9am – 8pm, New Year’s Eve 9am – 5pm and New Year’s Day 12pm – 6pm).
