Let’s face it, lunchtimes can get a bit boring with the same old meal deals, soggy salads and boring sandwiches.

But who said it has to be like that every day? It’s time for lunch with a bit of flare as Albert Square Chop House releases a brand new express lunch menu.

So what’s being served?

For £10 you can get your hands on one of the delicious mains chosen by executive chef Lee Ferguson and a drink, including wines chosen by in-house sommelier George Bergier (but maybe stick to the one glass over lunch – you don’t want to be getting in trouble with the boss now, do you?)

Partner a grilled chicken caesar salad with a glass of Canforrales Verdejo Blanc, or homemade fish fingers and peas with the Chop House special ale.

Veggies and vegans, don’t fret because there are options for you too. Try the spring speltotto – a chop house take on a traditional risotto, using wholewheat spelt instead of rice, and plated up with peas, baby spinach and broad beans. Yum.

And with summer on its way, why not dine outside in the delightful outside seating area at Albert’s – perfect for those sunny days we all look forward to.

The menu is available Monday to Friday from 12 till 5pm.
