As the twinkling lights of the festive season start popping up around the city, North West-based brand & communications agency, Agent, is dusting off its Santa hat for the fourth edition of its heartwarming ‘All You Read is Love’ campaign.

This year, they’re adding an extra sprinkle of magic to spread the love of reading even further.

All You Read Is Love

The initiative, fuelled by a desire to donate £10,000 worth of books to local young bookworms, is responding to a call from the National Literacy Trust.

One in five parents is feeling the pinch of the cost-of-living crisis, leading to a cutback in book spending.

One in six also stated that their child was now struggling more at school, compared to 12 months ago.

Agent, however, is on a mission to turn those frowns into smiles.

Since 2020, they’ve been wrapping the community in a warm literary embrace, making ‘All You Read is Love’ a festive tradition that rivals mince pies and tinsel.

Collaboration with Publiship

This time around, they’ve teamed up with the literary Santas at Publiship, a Liverpool-based global book distributor, to make the magic happen.

They’re calling on everyone in the region to join in the fun by donating shiny new or pre-loved children’s books to their Manchester and Liverpool Studios.

These literary treasures will then be whisked away to charities and community groups, ensuring that every child gets a taste of the joy that comes from a good story.

In its previous year, Agent gifted over £8,000 worth of diverse books to more than 1,000 young people across the North West region, including works by well-known authors, emerging talents, and voices from BAME and LGBTQ+ communities.

Publiship has hit the ground running, securing hundreds of book donations from their publisher pals who are just as excited to be a part of this heartwarming mission.

Paul Corcoran, Agent’s CEO and founder, said: “’We’ve reached our favourite time of year once again – this campaign really is a manifestation of the spirit of giving that defines Agent.

“This year, we aim to reach even more young minds than ever before, sharing the joy of reading with the communities who need it most.

“Every single contribution makes a huge impact, and together, we can make this holiday season brighter for the children in our region.”

If you fancy being part of this festive literary extravaganza, Agent is all ears!

They’re welcoming donations of new or top-notch condition books at their Liverpool and Manchester studios.

Let’s make this holiday season one for the books!

You can find them at No.2 Circle Square, Oxford Road Manchester M1 7ED
