He has just launched his own restaurant in Gatley, and now TV star Adam Thomas has revealed his next big project will involve him returning to the I’m A Celebrity Aussie jungle.

For Adam has been revealed as a new presenter on the I’m a Celeb spin-off show Extra Camp for 2019 – alongside fellow ex-jungle campers Emily Atack and Joel Dommett.

Emily and Adam are replacing Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash, who both revealed they’d be leaving Extra Camp this year to work on other projects.

The smash-hit ITV reality show will return to screens with a whole raft of new celebrity campmates in November. The I‘m a Celebrity…Extra Camp show is screened every night on ITV2 after the main show, which is hosted by Ant and Dec.

Adam, who came third on the 2016 I’m a Celebrity, said of the news: “I can’t believe that I’m heading back to the Jungle, this is something I never saw coming my way.

“I’m so excited to be reunited with my campmate Joel and to also work alongside Emily. We’re going to have so much fun… just keep me away from those spiders.”

Adam Thomas and Scott Graham

Adam, 31, from Cheadle, revealed last month how he had fulfilled a childhood dream alongside his best mate Scott Graham, 32, in opening their restaurant The Spinn, after transforming a former electrical shop in Gatley.

Dad-of-two Adam said at the time: “We’ve been wanting to do this for years, even when we were at school we talked about opening our own place.”

Former Emmerdale star Adam has been throwing himself into restaurant life – even working behind the bar and washing up the dishes.
