The new site boasts award winning sausages sourced from the very best local butchers, with a range that includes a Supreme National Champion, a National Champion and two Gold Medal winning sausages.
As standard, take one of the eight-inch plus sausages on a soft buttered brioche bun and add your own toppings. If onions aren’t your thing, then choose from the house favourite “combos”; why not sample a chilli dog topped with slow cooked house pulled beef chilli, three cheese mix, fried onions and jalapeños. Or what about the JYD – the house favourite sausage piled high with chicken bites, chilli, bacon, fried onions, sauerkraut and three cheese mix, just add one of the tasty house made sauces to top it off. Or if you’re feeling adventurous then go for unusual favourite, The King: a beef sausage topped with peanut butter mustard, bacon, crispy bacon bits, battered banana and peanut butter powder. They even have a Sunday Lunch special; all must be seen to be believed.
The sides are equally as weird and wonderful, including five types of fries reigned over by the Eggs Benedict Fries (a dirty little secret that’s quickly getting out there) and the massively popular chicken bites. Wash the lot down with a cocktails – maybe a Green Tea Mojito or a Proper Cherry Cola – or a craft beer from the high quality range.
Something sweet for after? Puddings change weekly to keep you guessing and if somehow you’ve still got room after one to them then how about a boozy milkshake – like the Raspberry Ripple – a naughty take on a childhood favourite; Chambord, Wyborowa Vodka, raspberry syrup, ice cream, milk and just a touch of marshmallow fluff.
You’ll leave so full they’ll have to (sausage) roll you out.
