Manchester’s award winning street food operator GRUB have truly outdone themselves with their latest announcement.
Bringing a dedicated Burger Food Festival to the city centre this summer, expect a food fair overflowing with burgers of all shapes, sizes and flavours.
Promising a weekend full of burger goodness, meat eating Mancs can sink their teeth into a variety of succulent, juicy burgers ranging from the traditional beef patty to the fish burger, the Kenyan BBQ burger and everything else in between.
And on Sunday there will be a dedicated 100% vegan day, so no matter your preference, you can get in on the burger action with some great veggie and vegan creations.
Food traders at the weekend fest include none other than What’s Your Beef, Nyama Choma, Wholesome Junkies, The Little Fishy, Hun and Guerrilla Guerrilla, with more mouthwatering burger chefs yet to be announced.
Each and every stall will bring their own unique twist on the traditional burger, with inspirations taken from various cuisines from around the world. And traders Bakeorama will even be showcasing burgers made from cake!
The event will also have UK craft brewery Kernel on tap all weekend, because a burger without a beer really isn’t worth having.
GRUB director Jules Bailey says they really hope Manchester will embrace the new burger fest.
“Manchester has always had a passion for burgers and we really wanted to bring our own spin to it,” says Jules.
“We’re really excited to see these top level street food chefs giving the people of Manchester what they really want!”
Located at Mayfield Gatehouse, Grub’s Burger Food Festival opens on 28th June, Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 10pm and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm. This family-friendly event is free to attend and guests can also feel free to bring their four-legged doggos along, too!
