We all love the spontaneity of online ordering. But let’s face it, sometimes you need something within minutes and you simply can’t wait.
Zapp, the on-demand convenience app, delivers everyday items within minutes, 24/7.
The fast-growing start-up caters to life’s spontaneous or urgent need moments, selling 1000s of different products such as drinks, snacks, essential groceries, personal health and hygiene goods, over-the-counter medicines, and other everyday household items.
Zapp isn’t focused on replacing planned ahead grocery shopping, where there are already great online and offline options. Instead, Zapp is for when life can’t wait, catering to spontaneity and ‘urgent need’ use cases best.
Customers use the app for everything, from stocking up on drinks for that last-minute party to snacks for a spontaneous movie night or even nappies at 2am (new parents, we hear you)!
Best-sellers include drinks, snacks and ice-cream as well as essential groceries like bananas, avocados, other fruits and vegetables. Or lifesavers such as toilet paper, over-the-counter medicines, and even phone charging cables. Customers’ favourites include global brands like Ben & Jerry’s or Coca Cola and local favourites such as Longley Farm, Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, Hip & Hop Kombucha, Salford Rum and Diablesse Rum.
And you can feel good about your order too, because Zapp was built with sustainability at its core.
All Zapp deliveries are made via an all-electric fleet – a mixture of e-bikes and e-mopeds. Products are delivered in recyclable bags, and the company works with Planetly to reduce its carbon footprint and Olio to reduce food waste. This sees unsold food being shared with the local community instead of being thrown away.
Zapp also offers an industry-leading rider programme. Unlike gig economy companies, Zapp riders are employed and are full members of the Zapp team, receive additional employee benefits and the opportunity to become co-owners in Zapp.
No wonder it has been chosen as the official ‘European on-demand convenience and grocery delivery partner’ of Chelsea Football Club, the current European champions.
And that’s not the only thing Zapp’s been up to. Last summer Zapp sponsored All Points East Festival where they launched the first Zapp Convenience Store, delivering festival essentials directly on-site.
Zapp was also the official headline sponsor of Wireless festival, Europe’s hottest hip hop, rap and grime festival, which was renamed Zapp presents Wireless. Festivals and similar events are a great opportunity to meet and talk to our customers in person.
Want to get Zapping? Simply download the Zapp app on iOS or Android and enter your location. You can then search or browse for more than 2000 curated products, including global brands and local favourites.
