Following the success of their recently opened second venue on Deansgate, the owners of top Manchester brunch cafe Federal opened a new side project in the Arndale foodhall today.
It’s called Suppa and it specialises in artisanal sandwiches and soups. To celebrate the launch today, they’ll be giving away sandwiches and soups for just £1 all afternoon.
They’re also doing coffees for just £1.50 all day. Winner.
Sandwiches on offer include the T.L.T – a vegan take on the BLT made with lime & chilli marinated tofu, romaine lettuce, pickled tomato and creamy avocado mayo – and a roast chicken baguette spiced up with tarragon mayo and more pickled tomatoes.
On the soup side, warming options include the house speciality, a comforting chicken and noodle concoction which is available daily, and a vegan option. This week it’s a creamy mix of roasted butternut squash and pesto.
Oh – and there’s some lovely looking cakes to tuck into, too.
Recipes will change with the seasons in order to maximise flavour as well as ensuring the team can buy the freshest local produce.
Find them on the north side of the Arndale foodhall in the old Mac Daddies unit next to Pancho’s Burritos.
Open 11am-5pm Monday to Saturday, 11am – 4pm Sundays
