It has been officially announced that the dazzling Jena Pandya and the charming Ashley Day will take on the lead roles of Simran and Rog in Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical, the brand-new stage adaptation of one of India’s most beloved films, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ).

The musical is set to make its grand UK premiere at the Manchester Opera House from 29th May to 21st June 2025—and if you’re a fan of romance, comedy, and show-stopping musical numbers, this is one for the books!

Jena Pandya, known for her stunning performances in Bhangra Nation and Mamma Mia, couldn’t contain her excitement:

Ashley Day, who’s wowed audiences in An American in Paris and even graced TV screens in Dynasty, is just as smitten:

For those unfamiliar with DDLJ, this Bollywood blockbuster has been running continuously in cinemas since 1995— showing its timeless appeal. Now, under the direction of Aditya Chopra, who helmed the original film, the story is leaping onto the stage with 18 brand-new English songs, dazzling choreography, and a perfect blend of East meets West.

With an award-winning creative team that includes Nell Benjamin (Mean Girls, Legally Blonde), music duo Vishal & Shekhar, and Tony Award-winner Rob Ashford, the show promises a vibrant spectacle that will have audiences dancing in their seats!
