Attendees can expect top-tier DJs, emerging talents, and resident artists in what the venue describes as ‘an affordable night out’ in Manchester’s lively music scene.
Amber’s will introduce a weekly night, Saturdays at Amber’s, where artists will perform unannounced, with the full lineup revealed only after the event.
Tickets for December dates are set at £5 and will be available starting Friday, November 1st, at 10 a.m. A pre-sale option on their website grants early access 24 hours in advance.
What will Amber’s be like inside?
Amber’s will be split across two rooms, with its programme will feature live and club events from both local and international talent.
The new space will be ran by fabric and Rinse FM resident Hutch, Un.titled Studio co-director Sam Tunstall, and Nothing Forced creative agency founders Jeremy and Lawrence Abbott
The team behind Amber’s is mindful of the struggles facing UK venues.
Hutch aka James Hutchins
Speaking to I Love MCR, co-founder Hutch said: “At Amber’s we want the music, sound and vibe to be the reason you come back.
“We aim to bring some of the best artists in the world to our club, to play at an affordable price point, with the focus on brilliant music and sound, every single week.
“We’re totally aware of the climate at the moment when it comes to nightclubs and venues in trouble, so we aim to foster an environment where promoters, artists and attendees can thrive and grow together.”
Amber’s arrival comes amid tough times for UK music venues, with closures mounting across the country due to high rents and operational costs.
According to a report by the Music Venue Trust, venue closures have surged in the past year, despite an increase in grassroots venue attendance.
Amber’s aims to be a positive addition to the industry, bringing world-class talent to Manchester’s audiences each week.
