Manchester Airport has officially opened its brand new 1903 lounge in Terminal 3. Named after the year of the Wright Brothers’ first flight, the lounge has room for up to 71 people and offers a slice of luxury before you travel.
Although there are plenty of bars, restaurants and fast food chains at the airport already, this is the first adults only lounge. It will cater for couples, solo travellers and business travellers especially. In fact anyone who wants to sit back, relax, and have a truly memorable experience they’ll want to repeat every time they travel.
The new lounge has been designed with passengers’ needs in mind and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
From just £35 when booked in advance, you can enjoy a complimentary food and drink menu designed specifically for 1903, make use of fast track security, and access to unlimited free wi-fi.
All food is freshly prepared on site by in-house chefs using the best ingredients. Added extras include an 1833 vintage reserve cheddar from Barber’s, the world’s oldest makers, and real dairy ice cream from Cheshire Farm.
Drinks are covered with a fully-stocked bar of complimentary branded soft and alcoholic drinks, with the likes of Manchester Pale Ale and Manchester Gin (including a rather special Manchester Pink Raspberry infused gin) providing a local touch to the drinks menu which will vary to include a range of seasonal specials throughout the year.
Beth Brewster of Manchester Airports Group, said: “The final product looks superb and offers passengers a real slice of luxury before their flight.”
Manchester Airport is a global gateway and the largest airport outside London with over 210 destinations served by 70 airlines and carries more than 55 million passengers every year.
