Rudy's Pizza

Rudy’s Neapolitan Pizza has announced it will bring authentic Neapolitan pizza to Chorlton in June 2022.

Rudy’s Chorlton will be a relaxed neighbourhood pizzeria situated in the former Lloyds Bank on 577 Barlow Moor Road, in the bustling heart of the community.

Creating perfect, light and classic Neapolitan pizza since 2015, with the original Rudy’s situated in Ancoats, Manchester, the pizzeria has since opened sites in Greater Manchester, Soho, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham.

Born out of a passion for pizza, Rudy’s follows the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza making, serving classic recipes such as Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese – all originating from Naples, the birthplace of pizza.

Believing Neapolitan pizza to be the best in the world, Rudy’s dough is made fresh daily using Caputo’ 00′ flour which ferments for at least 24 hours. The dough lays the perfect foundation for ‘the best quality ingredients imported twice a week from Naples’, including San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius and Fior di Latte mozzarella.

Rudy’s is all about the pizza and following truly authentic Neapolitan technique. The dough is made fresh on-site every day and cooked in a wood-fired oven for just 60 seconds, all following Neapolitan pizza tradition, leaving it soft and floppy with a leopard patterned cornichon (crust).

Max, General Manager of Rudy’s Chorlton, said: “We’re really excited to bring Rudy’s to the Chorlton neighbourhood. It won’t be long before we can fire up the oven and serve delicious Neapolitan pizza. As a team, we can’t wait to become part of the community.”

The original Rudy’s pizzeria opened in Ancoats, Manchester, in 2015, with Rudy’s Chorlton, the 10th member of the Rudy’s famiglia. The new pizzeria will cater for over 60 guests inside, with alfresco dining for an additional 30 guests in a covered outside space.

The Rudy’s crew plans to let you try their Neapolitan pizza for free during their launch to mark the occasion. Yes free. Gratis. There will be a limited amount of pizzas to claim. All you have to do for your chance to get yours is sign up to their newsletter right here

Rudy’s are on the lookout for their kind of people and are now recruiting pizzaiolo and front-of-house team – those interested should apply here
