January is the time to make all those health and fitness resolutions and get fit, right? Wrong. Now’s the time to do it.

Because a very different kind of health club which opened in Manchester recently is offering 50% off membership this month.

hero Training Club has got every single aspect of your health and wellbeing covered. It’s the first and only health and wellbeing club in the UK to run not only exercise and physical activity classes but mental and emotional health classes too.

The 10,000sq ft club has four separate training zones to reflect a quartet of health and exercise disciplines – Athletic, Cardio, Rejuvenate and Stronger.

Each zone will host a selection of classes, ranging from boxing, HIIT, indoor cycling, animal flow, circuits, combat training to yoga and barre.

In total, the club will offer more than 250 classes each week.

The Stronger Room is where you can focus on strength and conditioning training. Exercises that are not designed to blast you out, but to focus on proper lifting techniques and maximising your overall output.

The Cardio Room is full of Stages cycle bikes for group cycling classes. The room is dark with music playing and is designed to get your heart rate up. Classes will either have an instructor at the front or a digital instructor on a big screen offering a very cinematic experience.

The Rejuvenation Room is where yoga, wellbeing and mediation classes take place. Designed to optimise your movement capabilities and build strength from your inner core and to relax your mind and rejuvenate.

The Athletic Room gives you the chance to release your inner athlete. A combination of HIIT classes, boxing and athletic training principles underpin this training method to help develop your speed, power and cardiovascular fitness.

Along with all these creatively developed fitness classes, there’s also a fully comprehensive wellbeing service to give your mental health a boost too.  A full programme of services is on offer including one to one and group counselling, hypnotherapy, sleep workshops, mindfulness sessions and resilience classes.

As a member, you will also have access to Navigator, hero’s online and app-based technology platform. The app offers incredible insights and allows you to track every single aspect of your health and wellbeing including sleep, activity and diet. It also allows you to understand trends and devise improvement strategies with the help and support of trained and qualified specialists.

As if all that’s not enough, hero Training Club has a state of the art cryotherapy chamber to ensure your body is fully recovered regardless of your training.

hero Training Club is located in Moda’s Angel Gardens scheme, a 35-storey, 466-home build-to-rent development.

There’s plenty of space for co-working, places to sit and have a coffee with friends and ample opportunity to learn about mindfulness and fitness.

And the best bit? You can join hero for just £50 a month in December instead of the usual £99 and enjoy endless amounts of benefits, from unlimited group fitness, classes, group sessions and access to a wide range of specialist services such as health assessments and one on one counselling.

Move over Manchester fitness clubs and gyms. There’s a new kind of health club in town.
