Now in its 19th year, Manchester Food & Drink Festival will run from 29th September to 10th October for 2016: meaning you’ve almost 2 weeks to experience the best of the city’s dining scene. As the MFDF’s exclusive booking partner, you can discover and book the best tables with Bookatable, throughout the festival.

The brainchild of Phil Jones & Chris Tomlinson, Manchester Food & Drink Festival was founded to celebrate the diversity and character of the city’s restaurant, and it’s grown to become one of the region’s most hotly-anticipated foodie festivals.

Manchester restaurants are busy perfecting their special festival menus, ready for you to enjoy. You can experience groundbreaking cuisine at Simon Rogan’s restaurant, The French, authentic Thai dining at Busaba, or a menu designed by the much-loved TV chef, James Martin.

Hawksmoor Manchester

Praised by many as the UK’s finest steak restaurant, Hawksmoor Manchester is the first opening outside London for the Hawksmoor empire. Set within a restored Victorian courthouse on Deansgate, this multi-award-winning restaurant is filled with stunning reclaimed pieces.

Bringing his 2 Michelin-starred expertise to the iconic Midland Hotel, Mr Cooper’s House and Garden is Simon Rogan’s second restaurant in Manchester. Mr Cooper’s offers a multitude of different dining settings under one roof, combining modern touches with the history and heritage of Mr Cooper himself, whose house and famous gardens sat on the site back in 1819. Trees, birdhouses and a gazebo decorate the striking dining room which, with a zesty-green & white colour scheme, ushers the outdoors in.

Brought to you by one of the UK’s best-loved celebrity chefs and named in The Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants 2015, James Martin’s eponymously-named restaurant is found within Manchester’s glitzy 235 Casino. An on-site ‘meat market’ sees guests step inside a cavernous walk-in meat fridge, which showcases cuts from the menu.
