It won’t be called Manchester House. But chef Aiden Byrne is returning to venue Tower 12 on Bridge Street for his new restaurant, which will be called restaurant MCR.

Open from Friday 7th December, restaurant MCR will offer diners six or 12 course tasting menus that showcase the reinvented classic dishes Aiden has become synonymous with.

There will also be an express lunch option of three or six courses available, but the main objective for the restaurant is to give guests time to enjoy their meal, says Aiden.

restaurant MCR has re-opened in quick-time, and the chef is determined to retain the warmth and welcome that the former venue was known for in his new venture.

“We are so happy to be be able to make this happen before Christmas, but we just had to make it work,” said Aiden about the new opening.

“So many people made contact when the news broke last week, while it’s been a crazy week turning this around. It means that we can bring buy cheap generic ambien back the tasting menu and get back to basics. Doing what I love, sending food and watching as our customers connect with the food.

“While we are focused on delivering an experience and the 12 course tasting menu, the key ingredient for the new restaurant is putting the guest at the heart of everything we’re doing.

“If our guests want something other than what is on the menu, if we have the ingredients then we can make it work for them.”

Aiden recently left sky-high Spinningfields restaurant 20 Stories, fuelling rumours as to where he would go next. He had spent 12 months at D&D London’s flagship Manchester restaurant, and before that was head chef at Manchester House.

The new menu will draw on Aiden’s career, says restaurant MCR, seeing traditional flavour combinations crafted into something new and surprising in the 12 course tasting menu.

We won’t have long to find out.

restaurant MCR will open on Friday 7th December at Tower 12, Bridge Street.
