Lovers of all things make-up rejoice – the biggest beauty hall outside of London has been unveiled at Selfridges at the intu Trafford Centre.

Boasting a staggering 25,000 different products across 170 brands, the beauty hall has doubled in size on the ground floor with a host of exclusives and quirky new features as part of a major store revamp.

It includes lots of new technology – including special mirrors to show how you look in different lights at MAC, before and after photos at Giorgio Armani and even a special app on the Estee Lauder counter where you can see how you look with over 20 different lipstick colours without having to try a single one on.

You can also blend your own lipstick colours in an Estee Lauder exclusive outside of London – creating three bespoke glosses to take away in a presentation case for £81.

To cope with all those selfie-loving shoppers there are also phone charging points across the hall and phone stands so that you can video your makeovers and share on your social media platforms afterwards.

Brand exclusives include Anastasia Beverly Hills, Huda, Hourglass, By Terry, Lime Crime, Natasha Denona and Le Labo.

For the first time at the store, there will also be a new team of personal shoppers for beauty. The Beauty Insiders are an impartial team of experts who will guide shoppers around the hall and pick the best from all the brands for their needs.

There’s also a huge new perfume section, and a raft of new beauty products with everything from bee venom face cream to anti-wrinkle pillows.
