Are you dreaming of a White Christmas? The weather forecasters have predicted bitter Arctic winds and plummeting temperatures over the coming weeks and the bookies have slashed the odds on the chances of snow on Christmas Day.

But there’s only one place where you’re guaranteed a Marco Pierre White Christmas. Marco’s New York Italian at MediaCity.

So if you’re heading down to Salford Quays for a bit of Christmas shopping at the indoor Magical Makers Market or the Lowry Outlet, or you’re going to see Elf The Musical at The Lowry, or Lightwaves, the UK’s only digital light festival, or maybe going on a Santa cruise, why not enjoy a festive lunch or dinner there?

For just £25 per person for a three-course dinner or lunch, or £18 for a two-course festive lunch between 12:30pm – 3pm, you can take your pick from from five starters, five mains and five desserts.

Here’s what’s on the festive menu.

For starters, choose from Parma ham with freshly crushed avocado; calamari with chilli and spring onion, lemon mayonnaise dip; smoked hickory baby back ribs with deluxe BBQ sauce. Veggie options are ripe burrata cheese with ratatouille or parsnip, sage and white bean soup.

For mains, choose from traditional butter roast turkey with festive trimmings; cannelloni of Severn and Wye hot smoked salmon, baked in a rich mornay sauce with fresh thyme; a Great American Burger with cheese, crisp bacon, spicy ketchup and french fries. You don’t have to be a vegetarian to enjoy the toasted chestnuts, creamy goats cheese and caramelised red onion pizza or the wild mushroom lasagne al forno with baked garlic ciabatta.

For dessert, choose from tiramisu; Mont Blanc mess, chestnut purée, meringue, chantilly cream and hot chocolate sauce; or mango and passion fruit cheesecake with red fruit coulis. The Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and the sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce are both suitable for veggies.

The festive menu is available from 27th November – 24th December.

And if you don’t fancy cooking dinner on Christmas Day, head down to Marco’s for all your festive favourites.

Go the traditional route with butter roasted local turkey with chestnut stuffing, pancetta sausages and roast gravy followed by homemade Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, or choose from lots of festive alternatives.

It costs £65 per person for three courses and is available on Christmas Day between 12.30pm – 2.30pm.
