Manchester Ice Rink is set to open at its new location in the centre of First Street next to Deansgate Locks opposite the former site of The Haçienda.

First Street ice rink provides an alternative Christmas destination. The 20m x 15m ice rink, which has a capacity of up to 100 skaters at any one time, will be open seven days a week from November 16th until December 23rd and welcomes skaters of all ages and abilities.

It’s perfect for a family day out, a romantic first date, a festive office party or just a great fun night out with friends

If you just want to spectate, you’ll be spoilt for choice deciding where to have a drink or grab a bite to eat, with First Street’s restaurants, cafes and bars offering generous discounts of 10% or 20% off for all ice skating ticket holders.

First Street’s food, drink and entertainment operators include The Laundrette, Indian Tiffin Room, Kettlebell Kitchen, Junkyard Golf Club, WOOD Manchester and Gasworks Brewbar, with Pizza Express, Starbucks and Sainsbury’s rounding off the line-up. Q-Park First Street offers a 700-capacity car park on site as well. First Street has got the lot!

HOME will be showing a selection of classic Christmas movies including Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, It’s a Wonderful Life and The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Ice rink-goers will be hard-pressed to miss the stunning architecture of INNSIDE Manchester, the first Melia hotel to open in the UK. Perfect for business or pleasure, you’ll be charmed by its designer guest rooms, delightful cuisine and state-of-the-art meeting rooms.

For tickets book here or visit www.manchestericerink.co.uk or call 0161 820 9718. Or you can purchase them from the ticket office on site from 15th November 2017.
