To kick-start the new decade, Manchester’s highest restaurant 20 Stories  has launched a programme of exciting competitions, each taking place on the 20th of each month.

Which means that throughout 2020, diners who participate in 20 Stories competitions can win 12 amazing prizes.

The first one, which will offer one dining table a complimentary bill, will be chosen at random today, 20th January. Which means that one table dining today will get a lovely surprise at the end of their meal.

Further competitions will take place on the 20th of each month, and will be announced on social media.

Future prizes could include anything from winning a round of 20 Stories signature cocktails on the terrace for four people or a traditional afternoon tea to a free meal for two with a bottle of wine chosen by their sommelier.

There might also be the chance to win tickets to some of the restaurant’s special events and parties.

It’s one way to start the new decade in style. And for the rest of January you can take advantage of their special lunch and early evening offer of two courses for £18.50 including a Tanqueray No. Ten aperitif, too.

January dishes include a couple of lighter options, if you’re making a conscious effort to eat a bit more healthily after all the festive indulgence. Fillet of sea bream with smoked cauliflower and a persillade of wild mushrooms, say, or a celeriac and black garlic risotto.

But if you need something heartier and more comforting to beat the January chill, there’s always braised beef short rib with a crunchy onion crumb, buttery creamed potatoes and salsa verde.

And for an extra treat, keep an eye on 20 Stories social media for details of all the competitions coming up and how to take part. Good luck!
