Manchester’s Dormouse Chocolates, an independent chocolate maker based in the historic Great Northern Warehouse, has won big at the UK Heat of the International Chocolate Awards.

The local chocolatier secured an impressive six prestigious awards, including the coveted overall winner title in the Flavoured Chocolate Bars category.

Dormouse Chocolates has been celebrated for its commitment to crafting high-quality, ethically sourced chocolates, and this recent success further solidifies its reputation as a leading name in the artisanal chocolate industry.

Among the awards won were a bronze for their Afromuvaras Woman’s Association 60% Milk Chocolate, a silver for their Qori Warmi Peru 75% Dark Chocolate, and a stunning four gold awards for their unique Bread-and-Butter bars.

The Bread-and-Butter bars, known for their smooth chocolate and nostalgic flavours, also took home the title of overall winner in the Flavoured Chocolate Bars category.

This innovative creation has become a favourite among chocolate enthusiasts, celebrated for its distinctive blend of rich chocolate and comforting, familiar flavours.
