Party like it’s 1999 at the Urban Food Fest street food & bar night market this Saturday 18 April 2015 where 15 different trucks and stalls will be serving gourmet global street food dishes with a 90s retro theme including “Macarena ‘n’ Cheese” Emmental & ham crêpes, “Spicy Girls” Kenyan lentil curry, “MMMBoppin’” BBQ brisket burgers with spicy chipotle mayo, “Gameboy” Italian walnut & gorgonzola panini, “Hit Me Baby One More Time” slow roasted sticky pulled pork and “Super Mario Bros” vegan falafel & hummus wraps. Totally 90s desserts include “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” cookie & chocolate fudge slice, Bill Clinton’s almond tart & “Fresh Prince of Bell Éclairs”.

There’s also a premium bar serving craft beers, cider, international wines & prosecco, bespoke cocktails and live music with servers dressed in hip hoppin’ themed costumes. And there’s a free craft beer or cocktail for everyone in 90s themed fancy dress so why not leave the skinny jeans at home and dig out the Stone Island sweatshirt, the Joe Bloggs flares, the Kangol bucket hat and Kickers. And don’t forget the curtain fringe.

Urban Food Fest is every Saturday night until 19 December 2015 at Euro Car Parks, 2-6 Bridgewater Street, Deansgate, Manchester from 5pm to midnight.
