Shoryu Ramen
Treat that special someone to the Dates and Mates set menu at Shoryu Ramen, Manchester’s favourite Japanese restaurant,. Whether it’s for a hopeless ramen-tic or a mate’s date, no couple will able to resist this delectable offer.
Guests can say ‘you don’t know how much you mean to me’ with the main course of Shoryu Ganso Tonkotsu, Miso Wafu Chicken ramen or the Shoryu vegetarian option, White Natural.
To finish, ramen lovers can spoil their other half, mate, or date with an indulgent dessert – a choice of matcha or strawberry cheesecake or a coconut and salted caramel chocolate Mochi ice cream kiss. And it wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without a special tipple to toast the evening. Choose from a glass of fizz or a Shoryu special Yuzu Mojito – a mix of fresh strawberries, mint, lime, homemade yuzu syrup, Bacardi white rum and yuzu umeshu over crushed ice.

Mamucium
Spoil your loved one with three indulgent courses, canapes and prosecco from just £24.95 A perfect excuse to spoil your nearest and dearest with locally sourced food with carefully crafted dishes and an exclusive range of cocktails. Or why not make a full evening of it and take advantage of wine, dine and unwind package in partnership with Hotel Indigo. Receive a bottle of house wine on arrival, dinner for two at Mamucium, breakfast in the morning and a late check out for £169. Sounds perfect to us. The Lowry Hotel River Restaurant
Spoil yourself and your partner with a Valentines Dinner at The River Restaurant. Enjoy a sumptuous four course dinner complete with a glass of Ayala champagne for just £55 per person. Singer and pianist Kimm will be the entertainment for the evening, serenading diners with some beautiful music in the cosy ambience of the restaurant.
Abode Manchester
Abode is a splendid 19th century building housing a stunning hotel and an award-winning restaurant just a short walk away from Piccadilly station. The brasserie are offering an unmissable offer of a very special 5-course celebration menu with a bottle of prosecco for £110 per couple. The set menu of truffle mushroom soup, lobster ravioli and dry aged beef fillet is making our mouths water just thinking about it.
Bock Biere Cafe – Je t’aime
A continental cafe in the centre of Manchester with a comprehensive menu and first class table service. For the season of love why not feast on Bock’s Chateaubriand Roast Fondue for just £35pp with a free glass of prosecco. Only available on 14th February from midday until 10pm
Peter Street Kitchen
Enjoy an exquisite four-course Mexican and Japanese special Valentine’s menu at the much-loved Peter Street Kitchen complete with a taco selection on arrival and a pear and hibiscus royale cocktail. Available on 14th February only at £75 per person.
Carluccio’s
Wine and dine your date with a specially created three-course menu from only £22.95. Signature dishes include an antipasto sharing board, a super luxe dish of lobster tagliolini and a sharing plate for dessert filled with chocolatey deliciousness. Vegans can be catered for too. From 13th – 16th February.
Chaophraya
Why not celebrate with your special someone by transporting your love to Thailand – well, Chapel Walks actually – and indulge in an evening of Thai cuisine. Enjoy three courses and a glass of prosecco for £39.95. From 14th February – 16th February.
Cottonopolis
A 5 course menu has been lovingly created for this special occasion, starting your night off with a Sushi Omakase plate for two, a specially created Valentine’s cocktail and finishing with a naughty but oh so nice chocolate and red berry donburi for £33 per person.
Bab NQ
Does anything say romance more than a beef kebab? The guys down at BAB think not. Find yourself a date or just a mate and indulge in a little truffle lovin’. Chow down on a 4oz dry aged beef fillet, celeriac and truffle remoulade and freshly shaved perigord truffle. It costs £36 and it’s that good it has to be ordered three days in advance, so you better book now to be sure you don’t miss out. Available 11th – 17th February.
Wood Restaurant
Why not treat your partner to WOOD this Valentine’s? With a 7 course tasting menu on offer and the opportunity to be wined and dined by Masterchef champion Simon Wood, it’s the perfect setting for a stunning V Day experience. It’s £69 per person and for an additional £39 you can add the paired wine flight for an expertly chosen glass of vino with each dish – and if that wasn’t enough to show the love, guests will also receive a glass of fizz on arrival.
Victorian Chop Houses
Enjoy Great British dishes in a choice of three strikingly beautiful venues right in the heart of town this Valentine’s Day. The Victorian Chop Houses offer award-winning food in an atmosphere full of character.
Choose the Valentine’s special menu because there is probably nothing more intimate than sharing food from the same plate and experiencing flavours together. The dishes have been designed to encourage diners to put their phones on silent and enjoy uninterrupted time with each other.
The sharing menu features seared king scallops served in the shell with spicy chilli chipolatas and garlic butter to start and Roast dry aged chateaubriand served with thick cut chips, roast cherry tomatoes, spinach gratin and béarnaise sauce for the main course.
Dessert is a trio of chocolate desserts – raspberry and chocolate pot, chocolate fondant with white and dark chocolate ice-cream.

On Sunday 10th February, Tattu is welcoming Valentine’s screening specials to its private dining rooms featuring a selection of romantic films each paired with a 3 course menu and dessert cocktail. Screening times are: 1pm Hitch, 4pm When Harry Met Sally and 7pm True Romance. Tickets are priced at £40pp and must be booked in advance. On the big day itself, Tattu is serving its winter a la carte menu with a limited edition sharing dish and cocktail where you can dine under the beautiful indoor trees the restaurant is filled with. Prices start at £48 for two to share.
Asha’s
Serving up a sophisticated spice sensation, Asha’s spectacular Valentine’s Day platter is sure to delight every couple’s palette. The Emperor’s Platter includes a tandoori lobster accompanied by a bottle of fizz, an artisan bread basket and a stunning dessert platter finale to round off a perfect evening. £100 per couple. Offer only available on 14th February.
Menagerie
Beautiful venue, beautiful cocktails, carefully crafted dishes and warm welcoming service – and for Valentine’s Day a yummy set menu costing £50 per person with a glass of prosecco on arrival. Chose from fillet steak, a rack of lamb or spicy miso salmon for mains and get the Menagerie assiette to share for pudding which includes a millionaire’s torte, sugared donuts and chocolate ‘spring rolls’. Yum.
Great John Street Hotel

Manchester favourite Black Milk has opened a concession in the food hall of Selfridges at the intu Trafford Centre and has something extra special to offer to all the lovers out there. Sat upon the aptly made heart shaped waffles you can get Brownie S’Mores, strawberry and Nutella, cookie dough or salted caramel. Heck I’m sure they would stack all that on to a waffle if you really wanted to indulge. Priced at £5.90, this really is the way to any sweet tooths heart. We’re sold.
Rosso Restaurant
Rio Ferdinand’s Italian restaurant and celeb favourite Rosso offers up some firm favourites at the best of times, but for Valentine’s they have on an unmissable offer. Gaze lovingly into each other eyes whilst enjoying a glass of champagne on arrival and a 3 course meal. £60 per person.
