King Street Townhouse is fuelling the romance this February.

Its audaciously transformed cellar space is home to a 20 seater luxury screening room with a state of the art screen and sound system, luxury booth seating and gorgeous atmospherics.

The romantic aesthetic is being boosted this months with an array of gorgeous treats married and some beautiful romances on the big screen.

Oscars season is here again so the films being screened this month are an award-winning big musical number from 2017 and one of this year’s awards hopefuls.

The 2017 Oscar-winning musical love story La La Land is the big pick of the month, a wonderful story set in Los Angeles with high and lows culminating in some wonderful musical numbers and a standout Best Actress performance from Emma Stone.

As well as the movie, you’ll be treated to rosé champagne, popcorn, chocolate dipped strawberries, your own luxury seat and, if you really fancy snuggling up, you’ll get a blanket too.

Screenings take place on select Fridays and Saturdays as well as two on Valentine’s Day and cost £25 per person.

The second film being screened this month is one which sticks with the musical flavour but changes the beat – and it’s one of this year’s Oscar hopefuls.

Starring Rami Malek and written in collaboration with members of Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody charts the rise of one of the greatest rock bands of all time, from the turbulent early days through Freddie Mercury’s personal troubles to their iconic Live Aid performance at Wembley Stadium.

La La Land screenings on 14th February begin at 6pm and 8.30pm, leaving plenty of time before or after to indulge in an extravagant tasting menu at the New York-inspired King Street Tavern.

Enjoy a glass of the finest rosé champagne on arrival followed by a sumptuous and indulgent four course tasting menu, which includes scallops & Goosnargh duck for just £55 per person and £45 per person for the optional wine flight.

All screenings are available to book now online or by calling 0161 667 0707.
