Some of Manchester’s finest restaurants – including some of our favourites – have been nominated for this year’s EatDrinkSleep aka ‘The Drinkies’ Awards.

Fine dining isn’t always the easiest to get right but Grafene actually delivers what many others promise, with substance to back up all that style.

Best Premium Restaurant – North Manchester

Housed in a magnificent old building, this charming spot offers ambiance in abundance and a menu of British comfort food with a modern twist with classic eats like braised ox cheek, home-cured salmon and stuffed chicken breast.

Best Premium Restaurant – Central Manchester

If you’ve got meat on your mind and only the best will do, Gaucho is still the place to go for some of the best steaks in town.

Volta, Didsbury

Multi-award winning eaterie serving a wonderful selection of small plates and mains.

Best Premium Casual Restaurant – Central Manchester
The Refuge

The Refuge brings back the glamour of Manchester. A triumph of a dining room and sumptuous small plates more than worthy of their glorious surroundings.

Best Premium Casual Restaurant – South Manchester
Albert’s, Didsbury

Popular restaurant which has blossomed from a family business into a British culinary experience. Expect a menu flush with eats like oriental pork belly, rabbit gnocchi and a delicious pan fried sea bass.

Best International Cuisine – Central Manchester

The new menu takes Thai dining to a new level in the UK and then some.

Best Casual Dining – Central Manchester
