Tim Hortons is coming to Market Street – with first customer getting free drinks for a year

Canadian food and drink brand Tim Hortons has today confirmed that it will be opening a new restaurant in Manchester on 30th May.

The new restaurant on Market Street will be open from 6am until midnight, seven days a week.

As well as coffee, the menu will feature best-selling items, including Timbits, Iced Capps, Freshly Baked Donuts and Tims Crispy Chicken Sandwich.

And the first customer in the queue at the city centre restaurant will be awarded with free drinks for a whole year – a prize worth a staggering £3,100.

The brand will also give away a free breakfast meal to its first 100 customers.

And they will also run a series of giveaways including free drinks and donuts for those who activate their Tim Hortons digital wallet.

Guests will simply need to scan the QR code found at the restaurant or visit this link via their mobile to activate the rewards wallet.

The launch comes following the brand’s exploration into the perfect city centre location, with Manchester coming out on top thanks to its perfect mix of city and cultural buzz, student activity, families, tourism and the influx of local jobs.

Since the opening of the first Manchester restaurant at Bury Mill Gate back in December 2017, Tim Hortons has provided over 400 jobs for Mancunians across each of its eight locations, offering a combination of full-time and part-time roles with impressive progression and training opportunities.

There are currently eight restaurants across Greater Manchester, and 51 in the UK.

Tim Hortons will open on Market Street on 30th May.
