Step into a new era of hospitality at The Sale, the beautifully rebranded pub formerly known as The Moorfield.

Nestled next to Sale Botanical Gardens, this historic building has undergone a spectacular transformation, courtesy of a six-figure investment.

Now, with its doors wide open, The Sale invites both loyal patrons and new guests to experience a fresh, vibrant atmosphere enhanced by contemporary décor, an expanded outdoor area, and an enticing menu.

The Moorfield re-brands as The Sale

Greene King have put a huge investment into The Sale, with a reported six figures being spent on its renovation.

They say: “This extensive refurbishment has breathed new life into the establishment, enhancing both its aesthetic appeal and capacity, with an additional 100 outdoor covers now available. 

“Locals will be thrilled with the highly anticipated transformation, which offers a fresh and inviting atmosphere both inside and out.”

Inside, the pub boasts a complete makeover with contemporary décor that creates a vibrant, modern ambience.

The redesigned bar area provides more space for socialising, and the new cocktail bar adds an exciting twist.  

The perfect place for functions?

The fully refurbished function room can accommodate up to 50 guests, making it perfect for weddings, sports events, business meetings, and various gatherings.  

Enjoying an idyllic location next to the botanical gardens, the pub is also dog-friendly both inside and out, making it a welcoming spot for those who want to bring their furry friends. 

A revamped food and drink menu

The improved drinks menu now features a premium range of beers, including  Madri, Level Head, Neck Oil, Aspall, and Estrella and the revamped food offering includes summer specials such as Pulled Beef Rib & Beer Croquettes, Marmalade Pork Loin Steak, and Truffle Mushroom Chicken Schnitzel.

The standard menu includes delicious options like Lamb Shank, Salmon & Cheddar Fish Cakes, and King Prawn & Chorizo Risotto.  

Lunch deals and kids menus

Additionally, a new lunch deal offers a sandwich, side, and drink for £8.99, while the seniors menu provides a two to three course meal starting from £7.99 and a new kids’ menu from £4.99 every day. 

Other exciting additions include Steak Thursdays starting at £11.50 and a newly added Sunday lunch. Quiz nights will take place every Tuesday at 9pm to bring the community together and a new trader’s market will be held on the last Sunday of every month from 10am to 4pm, starting on July 28th. 

To celebrate the grand reopening, The Sale will host a lively neighbourhood garden party for the community running from 19th – 21st July. The festivities will culminate on the Sunday with an acoustic performance in a relaxed live lounge setting from 2pm to 4pm.  

This special acoustic session will become a monthly tradition, taking place on the last Sunday of every month, offering a perfect way to unwind and enjoy live music in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
