The happiest 5k on the planet is back to colour Manchester happy!

On 2^nd July The Color Run Presented by Skittles is back in Manchester for the most colourful party of the summer!  

Being a Color Runner is a lifestyle choice. A lifestyle full of amazing music, super cool selfies, happy crowds, wicked race packs, great sponsor freebies, plus a SHED LOAD of colour!  

Now in its fourth year, we are excited to welcome even more awesome Color Runner newbies to our ever-growing family but don’t worry, we at The Color Run Presented by Skittles aren’t getting grey and old. In fact, for 2016 we’re bringing new colourful surprises and a funky tropical twist!

Lace up your running shoes and break out the board shorts, it’s time to hit the beach! This year The Color Run Presented by Skittles is bringing you the experience of an island vacation full of fun (a funcation?!), music and of course, colour (phew!). We’re adding an additional Color Zone so that you’ll be running through five (yes – five!) different Color Zones. At the fifth all-new Tropicolor Rainbow Zone you’ll be bathed in a tropical array of colours as you skip, hop or jog your way to the finish party!

What happens at The Color Run?

Thousands of Color Runners start the day in a white t-shirt, getting covered from head to toe in a rainbow of colours at each kilometre of the course. Oh and did we mention you don’t even have to run? You can choose to walk, skip or dance your way around if you feel like it. It’s all about the fun and what gives you, your friends and family the biggest smiles! 

The fun continues at the epic finish festival. Including an awesome mix of DJs, MCs, the truly famous ‘Color Throws’ and a host of colour crazy giveaways – the finish festival is truly the best way to celebrate with your friends and family. Trust us, THIS is the best post-5k party on the planet!
