It’s nearly that time of year when exams loom and students decide it might be a good idea to try to catch up with the work they should have done earlier in the year. It can be stressful.
What better way to celebrate than with an ice cold beer and an hour of relaxing yoga?
Now those nice people at leading Thai street food restaurant Thaikhun are coming to the rescue with FREE beer and yoga for students to relax the mind and body and help banish exam stress in the best way possible.
The benefits of yoga are well known. It improves your health from head to toe, inside and out. It’s not only a popular way to increase flexibility and gain strength but a great way to manage stress, while increasing the ability to focus and concentrate.
Thaikhun are partnering with Singha beer to offer students an opportunity to relax, avoid anxiety and encourage the physical, mental and spiritual practice, whilst enjoying a beer with friends.
The benefits of beer are probably less well known. Moderate alcohol consumption can reduce stress and anxiety. Researchers at the University of Montreal found that two glasses of beer a day can reduce work-related stress or anxiety.
You don’t need to be a yogi to relish the rewards of a yoga session at Thaikhun.
The beer yoga session is taking place at Thaikhun on 26 March at 6pm just ahead of the final of Thaikhun’s #BestSummerEver competition which will see one lucky student and an even luckier friend win the holiday of a lifetime to Thailand.
