Last Sunday saw the third Spinfest of 2014, held at the New World Trading Company pub: The Oast House in Spinningfields.
With a selection of American vintage anthems staged in the extensive Courtyard, the bank holiday glam-fest was the perfect free day out. Yep, free.
Live music, food and drink, no queues or mosh-pits plus the vibrant Manchester atmosphere – what more could you want? Really?
Manchester duo, Taylor and The Mason shared their acoustic and harmonising sounds with the crowd who chowed down on The Oast House’s delectable BBQ bites.
Taylor and The Mason kicked off Spinfest with guitar in hand, followed by Three Wheels On, 52 Skidoo, Lauren Housley, The Nick Steed Blues Band and five-piece swing and jazz band Dominic & The Hurricanes.
A festival celebrating City Life, Spinfest welcomes people of all ages to come and share its love for Manchester, music and mighty fine food.
Check out the amazing pictures by part-time photographer Charlotte Rowe and feast your eyes on the electric goings-on of this modern festival.
Just incase you missed it or fancy revisiting (obviously) then head to The Oast House on Sunday August 24th for more Spinfest action this summer.
You really don’t want to miss it.
