Vapiano is set to cool Manchester down this summer with its very own homemade ice cream range. Flavours include Green Tea with Coconut Fudge, Dark Chocolate and Cookies and Cream, plus a raspberry sorbet and lemon sorbet, all in little branded pots.

The 390 cover restaurant in the Corn Exchange also boasts a healthy yet tasty menu for those hotter days, with signature salads including the Strawberry Spinach Salad, made with fresh spinach, strawberries, goat’s cheese, red onions, pine nuts and homemade raspberry maple dressing.

If you need a bit of protein in your diet, the Reef n Beef Salad boasts grilled fillet of beef and king prawns with grilled vegetables, cherry tomatoes, spring onions, mixed leaves and Grana Padano D.O.P.

VAP223 LoveMCR-300x250 AD1650Whether it’s pasta, pizza or salad, all dishes are homemade from scratch, so you can watch your meal being created in front of your eyes as you choose from the fresh, quality ingredients on offer. And you can adapt dishes however you please to suit your own taste or diet!

The summer fun doesn’t stop there because the newly-launched cocktail menu boasts a Happy Hour from 4pm until 7pm – that’s two for one cocktails for a whole THREE hours Monday-Friday.

The menu includes the Vapiano Spritz, its own premium twist on the classic Aperol Spritz, with added gin and rhubarb syrup, plus much-loved favourites such as Long Island Ice Tea, Gin Bramble, Dark and Stormy, Classic Mojito and the Strawberry Bellini.

Prices start at just £4.50, and with its Italian classic Aperol Spritz on the menu for just £4.95 and included in the special offer, it promises to be a very happy hour!

The outdoor terrace with extra comfy, cushioned seating is the perfect spot to enjoy lunch, a cocktail, or even an ice cream in the glorious Manchester British sunshine, so there’s no need to go anywhere else for those sweet summertime vibes.

According to an old Italian proverb Chi va piano, va sano e lontano – ‘if you have a relaxed approach to life, yours will be long and healthy.’ That’s the Vapiano philosophy.
