The countdown to the opening of Red Door Manchester has commenced. Bringing a new and exciting bar and live music venue to Deansgate, Red Door will open to the public on Monday 6th June. Those who discover what is behind the Red Door will experience the handcrafted, signature cocktails for which the bar is renowned; made with premium ingredients and a dash of theatre and served with a flourish.

Occupying 2800 sq ft with a capacity of 250, Red Door will be open 5pm-2am Sun-Thurs and 5pm-3am Fri & Sat with an eclectic range of live music and DJ sets.

The opening of Red Door Manchester will be very poignant following the tragic passing of leisure icon Tim Bacon (Chairman of Living Ventures) on the 29th April. Tim was especially excited about this opening, having fond memories as it was formerly the location of JW Johnsons, the legendary restaurant, bar and basement club which he owned with entrepreneur, Dave Hinds, in the 90’s.

The venue was loved by a wide variety of people and Red Door, opening in the same basement space (underneath The Botanist), is sure to emulate this. Tim had once again joined forces, independently, with Dave Hinds and former Living Ventures bar expert, Lee Lynch, to bring Red Door to Manchester.

Joining the Red Door family which comprises bars in Liverpool and Chester, the stylish ambience is sure to be a hit on the Manchester bar scene, with low lighting, an intimate feel and strong musical focus, just some of the elements which contribute to the rounded Red Door experience.
