CitySuites will open its second aparthotel, CitySuites II, in Embankment West in January.

Complete with 142 apartments, from studios (33.5 SQM) up to three-bedroom apartments (105.8 SQM), each has been designed to combine the luxury touches of a hotel with the space, privacy and comfort of home.

Mattison beds and bespoke built bathrooms will grace every apartment, in addition to a fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob and fridge freezer.

Guests can also enjoy a Sky Premium package, ultrafast broadband, Nespresso coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine and GHD Air Hairdryer.

Five ultra-luxurious penthouses will occupy the top three floors of the new aparthotel.

The largest of the five suites will be a three-bedroom duplex penthouse that occupies 256sqm of the 16th and 17th floor, boasting a wrap-around balcony with breathtaking views of Manchester’s skyline.

Sophisticated interiors and top-of-the-range appliances will complete the ‘super suites’, with floor-to-ceiling windows with views over Manchester Cathedral, SieMatic kitchens, BORA ovens, Lutron electric blinds, home theatre lighting systems, Bang & Olufsen sound systems, while the master suite also has a walk-in steam shower room.

All apartments are designed to suit both business and leisure stays, anything from a one-night stay up to a year-long booking.

For residents staying for the long haul, the team at CitySuites II promise the service and convenience of a 5-star hotel, as much as a personalised experience.

Professional housekeeping, 24-hour concierge, laundry and dry-cleaning services, residents only coworking spaces are just some of the perks offered.

Guests of CitySuites II can also enjoy a swim in its tranquil 18-metre pool, or for ultimate relaxation head to the spa pool and steam room.

The matrix gym will be kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment and is accessible 24 hours a day, with weekly classes on offer.

Community spaces include The Lounge, a spacious open-plan area overlooking Embarkment West courtyard.

A meeting room will be available to book out, and guests are welcome to head to the original CitySuites to dine in its in-house brasserie restaurant and bar, Embankment Kitchen.

“CitySuites II will be an evolvement of CitySuites as you know it in Manchester, everything we already are and more,” says Gavin Bailey, operations director of CitySuites.

“The perfect combination of comfort and luxury remains at the core of our design and approach, but with additional facilities, community areas and services we are going a step further in being able to really tailor and personalise experiences for each and every one of our guests.

“The super suites will offer a hotel experience currently unparalleled in the city.

“Manchester is the fasting growing city in the UK and the level of hospitality needs to rise alongside this.

“For guests who want beautiful accommodation that is spacious, high-quality yet functional, with all the amenities and services of a 5-star hotel at hand if required, then CitySuites II will be the place for you.”

CitySuites II will open in January 2022 on 1 New Kings Head Yard, M3 7GF.
