Chorlton favourite, The Laundrette, spins into First Street as the new kid on block after launching its new city centre venue today [December 5th]

Famous for its ‘Cocktails and Carbs’ offering, its swanky new decor may look different, but it hasn’t lost its Laundrette quirkiness with neon signs and copper finishing making it feel like Chorlton’s grown up big sister.

Don’t worry Charlton commuters, its menus haven’t changed. In fact, as well as featuring its long list of amazing cocktails, including the Walnut Whip and Soap Sud Caipirinha, its food menu has been supercharged, thanks to an onsite charcoal pit and clay pizza oven.

The 100 seater restaurant will be open 10am-12am and will have a heated terrace to keep customers warm as the nights draw in. Something special, sexy, wonderful.

Talking ahead of the opening, owners Patrick Hall and Jon Charles, said: “Bringing The Laundrette to Manchester city centre is an awesome milestone in our journey. We’ll offer decent food, well made drinks and a laid back atmosphere. It’s looking great and we can’t wait to hear what people think when they start coming through the doors.”

Playing on its personality, it has gone pun heavy with its launch activity, boasting ‘Big loads spinning into First Street’ and ‘The finest pornstar with 9 oz of meat waiting for you’.
