New bar BLVD (Boulevard) hopes to breath new life into the former Neighbourhood site in Spinningfields when it opens in November 2019, offering food, drink and nightly entertainment.
A playful nod to New York’s Meatpacking District, BLVD will feature touches of cosmopolitan graffiti, alongside plush furnishings creating a super-luxe setting, say the team behind the new opening.
It’s the latest launch for Tokyo Industries, who own a portfolio of bars across the North including Factory nightclub as well as Impossible on Peter Street.
By day, BLVD’s modern dining room will serve a globally influenced menu, served 12pm – 10pm. Owners hope it will become the go-to destination for long lunches, afternoon soirees and premium dinners.
As twilight approaches, owners say BLVD will transform into an atmospheric metropolis with creative cocktails, opulent drinks and live nightly entertainment.
Neighbourhood closed earlier this year, following its license being revoked.
“BLVD Manchester will bring to the city a captivating and modern destination, focusing on premium service,” says Aaron Mellor, CEO of Tokyo Industries.
“We wanted to create a super-slick, all-day venue, reminiscent of those found in New York and Los Angeles, artfully blending together a luxe dining room and chic cocktail lounge to create a superior experience.
“BLVD Manchester will combine modern day dining, superior drinks and dynamic late-night entertainment when it launches in November 2019 – a destination for any time of day.”
