Children’s entertainer Mr Bloom will visit Teacup on Thomas Street to teach youngsters about the benefits of growing your own vegetables.

Teacup is an independent restaurant in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Owned by laidback DJ Mr Scruff and his Manager Gary McClarnan, Teacup has always flown the flag for good vegetarian food, and focuses on home cooked meals created with fresh produce.

Mr Bloom will be visiting during the summer holidays to teach children about growing their own vegetables with an interactive planting workshop. Youngsters will learn about growing fruit and veg, and have the opportunity to plant some seeds to take home with them. Parents and children will enjoy a picnic lunch at Teacup following the event.

Teacup is a family-friendly restaurant and welcomes children and young families. Chefs are passionate about creating exciting dishes from the best possible produce, and fresh fruit and vegetables are top on their agenda.
