If you’re a fan of MasterChef: The Professionals you won’t want to miss this one-off special event at the Corn Exchange.
The three finalists of the show will be coming to Alston Bar & Beef on Monday 20th January for a special six-course dinner to showcase their favourite dishes from the series.
The evening will see 2019 winner Stuart Deeley and fellow finalists Olivia Burt and Exose Grant Lopo-Ndinga – who hails from Manchester – showcasing their impressive culinary talents at the pop-up event from Sauce Supper Club.
Stu Deeley was crowned the winner of MasterChef: The Professionals 2019 after a close final between the three.
Judge Monica Galleti described him as “the complete package,” with Marcus Wareing adding: “He came in here to find confidence, look at the chef who is going to leave this comp. What a star we have found.”
Exose, a 22-year-old chef de partie at James Martin Manchester who trained at South Trafford College, impressed judges with his “ambitious, boldly flavoured and elegant” dishes.
“The journey has been incredible, I’ve learnt so much,” Exose told us about his time on the show. “It’s really boosted my confidence, to see what I’m capable of.”
And now, Manchester diners will be able to try the trio’s favourite dishes for themselves.
“These events are a great opportunity for chefs and diners alike to get together and talk about all things MasterChef,” explained director and founder of Sauce Supper Club, Beth Toovey.
“To be able to eat the dishes that wowed the judges is unique and really exciting – the events have been really well received.”
Lauren Sanckson from Alston Bar and Beef said she is delighted to be hosting the Manchester evening of the finalists’ tour.
“The venue is perfect for this event and we can’t wait to welcome guests,” she said about the restaurant, which is renowned for its quality steak offering and extensive range of gins.
