Massage as medicine? How holistic therapies can reduce your anger, anxiety and stress

holistic

Holistic healing is rapidly gaining popularity as we become more familiar with the idea that maintaining our health involves creating a balance of body, mind, spirit and emotions.

It aims to bring a natural balance to the body, considering the whole person and treating the body, mind, spirit, and emotion.

Many have found holistic treatments hugely helpful in helping them to stop smoking, lose weight, get over insomnia, relieve stress and restore their optimal health.

One Manchester woman saw the virtues of holistic healing to such an extent that she left her job with the NHS to pursue it full-time. This is her story.

For the past five years, Lola Utham worked in healthcare as a project manager for the NHS helping to research new therapies.

Despite enjoying a successful career as an NHS professional, Lola felt compelled by the special power of massage and aromatherapy and decided to leave her job with the NHS to pursue holistic therapy full-time.
