Mottram Hall

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the luxury car of the year. The next generation of luxury. After showcasing the car at opulent spa hotel Mottram Hall in Cheshire recently, we’ll tell you why.

Apart from being a bit of a head turner, even on the leafy lanes of Cheshire, the E-Class oozes elegant luxury but with sporty capabilities if and when you want them.

The exterior has more round shapes, chrome trims and tips, stardust tail lights, and more dramatic features. It makes every other new car look old.

The E-Class range is suited to everyone, from business users to young influencers. The traditional demographic of the E-Class is a silver haired fox. But the new E-Class range has changed that perception.

With new looks, adapted suspension and engine profiles, you can sedate the car for that traditional luxury buyer or make it more engaging and fun to drive for a more youthful driver attracted to the reputation of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

And it’s fun to drive. It’s larger than say the C-Class, with more room for luggage and golf clubs perhaps, but it’s potentially still as sporty if you want it. The car stays smooth and composed at all times.

Inside you’ll find a sophisticated aluminium trim with a carefully crafted dashboard showcasing state-of-the-art infotainment equipment. The interior mood lighting makes you feel like you’re sitting in the exclusive members bar inside Hotel Gotham.

There’s so much technology that if we tried to explain it all you’d be reading until the cows come home. But it’s worth mentioning the central dial, a swiping touchpad, and touch-sensitive thumb pads on the steering wheel. With menus, submenus, animations, and colours, it’s overwhelming. You can even control the SatNav from the steering wheel.

And the car can even drive itself, guiding you into the next lane.

The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class boasts advanced engine options and plush trim for all requirements, from a basic 2litre model (from around £36k) to the Mercedes-AMG E-Class
at the top end of the range (around £58k).

To discover more about the E-Class or book your test drive, contact your local LSH Auto UK centre in Manchester, Macclesfield, Stockport or Whitefield.

They’re offering three years free* servicing across all E-Class models if you buy before 31 December 2018 so you can just concentrate on enjoying the car and the things you love. They’ve got you covered for 36 months.
