Set to make waves in Manchester’s Northern Quarter is LOLA’s, the city’s first and only Miami style cocktail bar, which made a big splash this week with its VIP launch.

From the team behind The Crown & Anchor and the infamous Lammars, the new bar invited soap stars, footballers and Manchester’s trendiest glitterati to a Miami beach-themed VIP launch on Thursday (February 2).

LOLA’s talented mixologists Sean Porter and Tom Gibbs created Miami themed cocktails for the evening, including:

  • Miami Nice (Gala Apple Vodka, Xante Pear Liquor, Apple and Vanilla)
  • Miami Beach Iced Tea (Gala Vodka, Rum, Gin, Kokokanu, Contreau and Cranberry)
  • Mozart Magic (Black Chocolate Liquor, Gold Rum, Caramel, Milk and Cream)
  • Caiprinha (Cachaca, Lime and Sugar)
  • Strawberry and White Peach Bellinis

The bar in Tariff Street, will be open throughout the week (apart from Sundays) from 5pm to as late as 2am over the weekend, with buy one get one free offers on selected cocktails every Monday to Thursday from 5-7pm.

With booth-style seating available and beach-combing chic, it also boasts one of the biggest fish tanks in any bar and has capacity for 150 revellers.
