Be the front line in engaging with local businesses to collect accessibility data for our app, empowering the disabled community. Our goal is to empower the disabled community by providing accurate accessibility data for informed decision-making. Work with like-minded individuals, visit sociable venues in the mayor cities of North England, approach local business owners, and upload relevant data to the Sociability app.
As a fast-growing and dynamic tech start-up, there are ample opportunities for growth, including data checking and leadership roles. Explore positions in our Enterprise Accessibility Mapping team, collaborating with corporate and influential partners across the UK.
What does the role involve?
A minimum commitment of 12 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for at least four months, with the flexibility to set your own schedule;
Traveling and exploring various cities across the UK, such as Manchester, Sheffield, and Leeds, among others, through quick day trips;
Approaching and engaging local business owners to promote inclusion;
Collecting and entering accessibility data of sociable venues into app;
Coordinating with Sociability management to manage logistics of your mapping assignments and data collection;
Attending occasional virtual and East London HQ meetings and training sessions;
Attending occasional social events and meetings in London;
Serving as a passionate advocate for accessibility and the disabled community.
