IMLD Storytime: 'El Quijote para niños'

In 2023, Instituto Cervantes in Manchester continue its series to promote children's literacy skills Tell me a Story. We start it with the celebration of International Mother Language Day, where teacher Magaly Flores will read one of the classics of Spanish literature, El Quijote para niños (Quixote for children)by Miguel de Cervantes.

"In a town in La Mancha, whose name I do not wish to recall...." is the beginning of this book that tells the adventures and misadventures of Don Quixote through the lands of La Mancha who, accompanied by his loyal squire Sancho Panza, will fight against windmills, enchanted ships and dream of falling in love with his beloved Dulcinea.

In collaboration with Manchester City of Literature and Read Manchester - National Literacy Trust.

Recommended age: 5 to 9 years old.

El Instituto Cervantes de Mánchester continua en 2023 su ciclo para el fomento de la lectura infantil Cuéntame un cuento. Lo iniciamos con la celebración del Día Internacional de la Lengua Materna, donde la profesora Magaly Flores leerá uno de los clásicos de la literatura en español El Quijote para niños de Miguel de Cervantes.

«En un lugar de la Mancha de cuyo nombre no quiero acordarme...» es el comienzo de este libro que relata las aventuras y desventuras de don Quijote por las tierras de La Mancha que, acompañado de su leal escudero Sancho Panza, luchará contra molinos de vientos, barcos encantados y soñará con enamorar a su querida Dulcinea.
