Last weekend for Pop Up Tiki Paradise at the Food And Drink Festival – this weekend!

THE LIARS CLUB, Manchester’s tiki dive bar and Caribbean rum shop, prepares to inject a sense of fun into the annual Manchester Food & Drink Festival this month with the creation of a bespoke pop-up rum bar, fashioned especially for the event.

The bar situated in the festival hub on Albert Square will serve a boutique range of the cocktails developed and made famous in The Liars Club, on Back Bridge Street.

Nominated for the festival’s Bar of the Year award, The Liars’ Club boasts a creative and exotic list of drinks, from the flaming craziness of the Zombie, to the fruity enchantment of the Pina Colada, both of which will be available at the hub bar. The award-winning team headed up by Captain Lyndon Higginson will also be serving other popular favourites including the TLC, Rays Mistake, Mai Tai and Uncle Don’s Rum Punch when it opens on Friday 21 September.

Designated drivers need not miss out as The Liars Hub will be mixing their freshest non-alcoholic cocktails too so you don’t miss out on all the excitement. Plus for the less adventurous, or those of simpler taste, the festival hub will also be serving classic spirit and mixers as well as soft drinks.

This Autumn ( September 21 to October 8) Manchester city centre will be filled with a wondrous mix of aromas and tastes as the city celebrates its 15th Annual Food and Drink Festival. The festival will take place across Manchester, with the centre piece being its hub on Albert Square, running over 3 weekends, with its most ambitious programme to date.
