Northern Quarter basement bar Dive is one of Manchester’s hidden gems. Just two minutes from Market Street between Afflecks and Sachas Hotel, you could easily miss this bar/nightclub and restaurant but once you find this local treasure you’ll be back time and time again.
Every Friday and Saturday night the furniture is cleared out to create a large space made for dancing and celebrating the weekend and the bar turns into a full blown night club with a capacity of 700 people. It’s no wonder the place has become a Northern Quarter favourite over the past year. They’ve got a late night license till 5am every weekend which means you can party even longer.
Whether you are celebrating your birthday, stag or hen party or just fancy somewhere to call your own, the comfy Chesterfield booths can hold between 4 to 20 people – perfect for sharing with a group of friends this weekend.
The drinks menu is also focused around sharing and features the showstopping Jungle Juice, Hoodoo Voodoo and Hoochy tea which are presented in giant metal buckets topped with pineapples, bottles of prosecco and cans of retro Hooch. These guys have definitely got your weekend sorted.
If you book a booth, pre-orders can be made to arrive at the table when you get there to beat the queues at the bar.
Dive also have separate hen and stag packages to ensure your last night of freedom is filled with lots of prosecco, beer and shots. Packages start from £15pp.
