chaphraya cocktail Manchester

Up for a challenge this Christmas party season? Why not indulge in some healthy competition against the rest of your group with a fun cocktail masterclass at Chaophraya?

The classes are great fun, informative, and just £25pp – an absolute bargain considering the skills you’ll learn and the number of drinks you’ll get to enjoy.

Wet your whistle on arrival with a welcome drink before sitting down to get better acquainted with the art of mixology, learning the concepts behind it as well as some of the techniques used by bartenders throughout the industry.

Chaophraya’s expert mixologist will talk you step by step through the entire process – from picking up your bottles to taste-testing the final product before adding your garnish.

You’ll be fully educated on the best ways to concoct some classic cocktails before trying your hand at making them yourself behind Chaophraya’s bar. And the battle format will see you compete to be crowned the master mixologist at the end.

Classics on offer include vodka-based Sex and the City favourite the Cosmopolitan, fruity rum-based Daiquiris (choose from banana or strawberry flavour), a classic mojito or the iconic tiki Mai Tai.

Chaophraya also has two of their own signature cocktails available to make on the masterclass menu.

Guests can opt to make their Yok Lor, made with raspberry vodka, liqueur, cranberry juice, raspberries and strawberry puree; or the Siam Smile – Chaophraya’s twist on a Pornstar Martini.

There will be a selection of three different fine Thai canapes to nibble on including our favourite chicken thai tacos, miang kham with nasturtium, chicken and prawn wontons and spring rolls.

The restaurant will be open all day throughout December between 12pm and 10pm. They are also serving up a delicious alternative Christmas feast throughout the month for anyone already sick of turkey. Check out the menu here.
