Get ready for Parklife with free festival makeovers at Manchester Arndale

Parklife is almost upon us. The two-day festival takes place in Heaton Park on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June
And as festival goers descend on the city, Manchester Arndale is offering free festival makeovers inside the centre and at Victoria Station this weekend.
Those travelling to Parklife and weekend shoppers alike can visit the pop-up festival in Victoria Station on Saturday 9 June (9am-6pm) and Sunday 10 June (9am-5pm), or head to Manchester Arndale between 12pm and 6pm this Saturday.
It’s all part of The Arndale’s first Beauty Fest event. It’s sure to go down a storm (probably like the weather, considering it’s festival season).
Experts from NYX Professional, Benefit, Supercuts and Sergeant Caesar will be on hand during Beauty Fest to create glitter face and body art, 3D BROWtones, hair braiding and more, with options for men as well as women including flower beard sessions and men’s grooming tips, guys and girls alike can get stuck in.
And you’re sure to look the part thanks to what’s on offer in The Arndale Centre itself – festival face art from NYX Professional and The Body Shop.
The full list of brands taking part this weekend includes: Supercuts, NYX Professional, Benefit, Smashbox, No7, Lush, Decent Cut, L’Oreal, The Body Shop and Sergeant Caesar – so you can be sure of a high-quality makeover.
Forget tacky transfers and cheap face paints – here you get the proper treatment.
Plus, there’s an opportunity to show off your makeover as you can create your very own GIF at Victoria Station this weekend or snap a selfie in front of the huge flower wall outside Topman in Manchester Arndale until 17 June.
And pictures can mean prizes with a chance to win a £200 Manchester Arndale gift card by sharing a selfie or GIF from the 9-day event on social media using the hashtag #BEAUTYFEST. Terms and conditions apply.
