The Film Club at upmarket steak restaurant Gaucho brings you a series of screenings showing cult classics with a twist. The twist is that all of the screenings are interactive giving you an opportunity to immerse yourself in the film. If it’s on the screen it’s on your plate.
So when they showed Pulp Fiction, Douglas Sirk steak, the Big Kahuna Burger, blueberry pie, and pancakes were on the menu. On Sunday April 3, they’re showing Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, and Gaucho is inviting diners to revel in the glamour of the 1920s.
So why not join Nick, Daisy, and Gatsby for some fabulous twenties fare. Expect cocktails from Mint Juleps to Vodka Martinis to flow, canapés to circulate, and throwbacks to the era of decadence such as Salmon Mousse with Devilled Eggs, and the opportunity to indulge in the Long Island sophistication of tea and decadent cupcakes.
The screening costs £55 per person and includes all food and accompanying beverages. So grab your feather boa, hit the jag juice, and join the party whilst watching the party on-screen.
