A beautiful modern space, family-run Zouk is rather more special than your typical Indian restaurant.

And this Valentine’s Day, they’re making it an evening to remember with a sensational five-course set menu.

Available from 5pm to 10pm and priced at only £35 per person, this is a menu to tingle the taste buds and get you and your loved one in the mood for some romance.

The meal starts with a crisp pani puri shot to get you going – expect an explosion of flavour in one tasty mouthful.

Next up is the ultimate aphrodisiac, with a new twist.

Oyster pakoras are the best way to try zinc-rich oysters, considered a natural aphrodisiac for hundreds of years, believe Zouk.

A change from the traditional serving, here you’ll find them lightly coated in spicy pakora batter and served with a tangy chutney.

Follow them up with a lovers sharing platter filled with tempting treats.

Expect Punjabi lollipops – chargrilled chicken lollipops in a spicy pomegranate marinade – as well as spicy prawn pakoras, which see juicy king prawns marinated in a blend of mustard seeds, yoghurt and fresh green chillies, plus chargrilled Indian paneer cheese in a tangy achari marinade, topped with corn chaat.

When it comes to mains, Zouk’s are smoking hot.

Their much-loved butter chicken sees barbecued chicken breast cooked in a buttery sauce with gentle spices and cashew nuts, while the lamb shank biryani is so tender the shank just falls off the bone.

There’s also the beautifully rich dall makhani, which sees black lentils cooked with cream and spices.

Accompanied by rice and freshly baked naan bread, it’s all so good you’ll find it hard to share.

But make sure you leave room for the divine dessert duo – a fitting end to the feast.

Traditional gulab jamun – fried dough balls soaked in a sweet, sticky sugar syrup –  is topped with pistachios, and there’s also a light yet indulgent chocolate mousse.

Zouk also cater for a range of special dietary requirements – if you would like a vegan or vegetarian menu, just mention this in the special requests section when booking.

To make this a Valentine’s to remember, book now and join the celebrations at Zouk this February 14th.
