Gaucho has long been an institution on the Manchester restaurant scene with an enviable reputation for the quality of its Argentinian steak. The aim of its recent refurb is to make the new, extended bar a destination bar, not just for Manchester, but for the whole of the North West.
“Manchester is now the pioneer city
of drinking and dining…”
Set in a converted Methodist church, the original, grand features are stunning enough with a sleek, monochrome colour scheme, crystal chandeliers and leather interiors.
Completely re-worked and re-designed, designers have been carefully selected from around the country to make this a bar to remember – even on the blurriest of nights out.
Gaucho showcases opulence at its very core. An under-lit, black cracked glass bar framed in deep button black leather will see many a drink as customers enjoy an incredible drinks offering. The new bar boasts a magnificent white marble floor, plush black leather booths and a snug area – you begin to run out of superlatives to describe the sheer scale of design excellence.
A new glass-walled wine room will create a striking divide between the bar and the restaurant area and highlight its wonderful selection of Argentinian wines.
From an extravagant lunch spot during the day to the place to party at night, you can take your pick from an innovative selection of Argentine inspired cocktails. If that isn’t really your cup of tea, they also boast a number of Irish craft ales and a Gaucho exclusive- a crisp, refreshing Rubia Pilsener
Gaucho Group bar manager Ian O’Reilly says: “Manchester is now the pioneer city of drinking and dining, beyond London-and some might argue that they do it better in some respects.
“I really feel our bar offers a relaxing atmosphere mid-week to enjoy high quality service and drinks, whilst providing the buzzy nightlife experience people want on a weekend; with a great DJ stand and sound system and highly knowledgeable bar tenders, this should be a real destination. Manchester bar culture is electric and we can’t wait to be part of it!”
The Bar at Gaucho Manchester opens to the public tomorrow at 12pm.
